New to our Reception Class in September 2020?
School life is currently very different to what we are used to and for those children getting ready to join our Reception Class in September, we won't be able to hold our usual transition activities.
Over the coming weeks, we will be providing a range of resources to support parents in preparing their child for starting school during these unprecedented time.
The first of these resources is our virtual tour of Reception Class. Please follow this link to see it and share this valuable resource with your child.
Ways to help children in Reception Class understand the concept of social distancing
With schools due to reopen soon to children from Reception Class, it is important that we do our best to prepare them for how different school life will be on their return. They need to understand that the staff will not be able to hold their hand or hug them like they may have done in the past. Please use these links to share the attached ebooks with your child.
Staff will also be sharing these books with the children once they return to school. We hope you find them useful too.

Mrs McIntosh led a reading workshop for Reception parents on 16th October. If you were unable to attend, please have a look through the presentation so you can best support your child's learning.
