Our Curriculum

At Bailiffe Bridge School, we use the realPE schemes of work to support the teaching and learning of Physical Education (PE). These schemes of work are fully aligned to the National Curriculum. 

Through progressive units of work and discrete lessons, all children are:

  • inspired to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities
  • provided opportunities to become physically confident in a way that supports their health and fitness
  • provided opportunities to compete in sport and other activities that build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect. 

During their time at Bailiffe Bridge School, all children receive swimming instruction (the equivalent of weekly lessons for three academic terms) and have the opportunity to participate in outdoor pursuits (Robin Wood residential trip). 

Our curriculum aims to develop:
