Supporting Your Child with their Learning
The following information sheets give an overview of what our children are learning in each class this half term. (A paper copy will be sent home at the beginning of every half term).
These sheets will enable you as parents to become involved in your child's learning by being able to support them at home.
You can do this by reading with your child, listening to them read, working on the relevant number facts/times tables.
Please use the CURRICULUM link on the PUPILS tab to see what your child will be learning over the course of this academic year.
Parent Information Sheets are used to help parents support their children with learning at home.
Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers have been writing weekly learning letters that can be used to support home learning. These letters will continue to be written and uploaded onto the Children's Zone / Home learning section of the website each week.
They can be used in the following ways:
- for home learning should a child be absent from school because of illness
- for home learning if a child has to self isolate
- for homework at the end of the school day or on weekends
- as Plan B if school is forced to close again in the future.
